 | The Reiver... Review by Nelly Holbrooke*** Three 1/2 Star Review for The Reiver (A Scottish Border Romance) by author Jackie Barbose This story had such potential, and I really loved it. The characters were wonderful, the dialogue stimulating. What I loved most about this book, is the fact that the Reiver is the female protagonist! However, with the good, there is the bad; I just felt like the story needed to be fleshed out, and much longer than it actually was. It felt like the author was rushed and I found too many loose ends. Other than that, a great read! |
